THE BEST SOLUTION FOR YOUR YACHT
MOORING SYSTEMS
Mooring lines have to be highly functional, secure, sustainable, and easy to handle within the parameters of each yacht. They also need to fit the available budget. Drawing on years of on-board experience on large superyachts and a variety of yacht types and builds, we ask targeted questions and deliver highly informed solutions that are an exact fit for the specific criteria of each vessel.
Choosing from a wide range of different brands, constructions, and setups gives us the flexibility to provide our clients with tailor-made mooring systems – every time.

Function, beauty, and excellence in both,
are the benchmarks of our work.

BALLISTIC NYLON COVER

THE BESTSELLER
Double-braid polyester mooring lines are a good fit for most yachts with up to 90m and conveniently sized winches. This configuration offers a favourable price-performance ratio and a long service life, while the lines remain soft and flexible throughout. In contrast to Nylon mooring lines, they also maintain their breaking strength when wet. Our leather-edged ballistic Nylon (PA) covers offer outstanding abrasion resistance and great flexibility.

DYNEEMA
Core Line

Dyneema core lines have close to zero stretch and therefore require the addition of Stretchers (also called Sacrifical Loops or Mooring Tails) when used as mooring lines.

Polyester
STRETCHER
The double-braid polyester Stretchers in this configuration offer the elongation needed in a mooring system. They act as shock absorbers and take the abrasion strain from the mooring bits. When they are worn or damaged, they can easily be replaced, while the more costly Dyneema core lines remain intact.

RECOMMENDATION:
For maximum flexibility in any configuration with Loops, we recommend the Nylon or Dyneema protection options for both stretcher and mooring line eye.
THE MEGAYACHT CHOICE
This is a great choice for super- and megayachts with +90m or with smaller-sized winches, who look to reduce the diameter of their mooring lines. Dyneema core lines float and don't absorb water, which makes them much lighter and easier to store and handle for the crew. Their high breaking loads allow for reduced diameters that offer a better fit on smaller-sized winches.

LEATHER COVER

THE CLASSIC VERSION
The bestseller polyester line with traditional leather protection.
Why do we offer hand-stitched leather covers? Machine-sewn leather covers are soft and flexible, but they are thin, crumple over time and leave part of the eye unprotected. They also succumb faster to abrasion and are sewn with a thinner machine sewing thread that breaks more easily. Hand-stitching allows us to use thick, abrasion-resistant marine leather in combination with strong braided twine. This leather's form stability and resistance to creasing also ensure that it stays in place, does not crumple, and protects the strained parts of the mooring line eye throughout its service life.

DYNEEMA
Sleeve Cover
THE MODERN OPTION
Our Dyneema sleeve covers are integrated into the spliced eye and its ends sewn into the line for maximum durability and protection. The world's strongest fibre offers excellent abrasion resistance and allows the line to retain all its flexibility. Dyneema sleeve covers have a sophisticated look that is a great fit for the aesthetics of modern superyachts.
